After filing income tax returns, you are supposed to get it verified. Earlier it was compulsory to send the physical copies to income tax department, but now you can e-verify it in minutes.
EVC through net banking – Once you login to bank’s net banking account, you will be able to generate an EVC, which will be displayed on the screen and will also be sent to your registered mobile number by requesting access to www.incometaxindiaefiling.gov. in. Now you can e-verify the returns with the help of EVC.
EVC through ATM – ‘Generate EVC for income tax return filing’ will appear after logging into the bank account via ATMs, only the ones which have been registered with the income tax department for providing the service.
EVC though the government website
– EVC can be generated from within the government’s tax filing website, www.incometaxindiaefiling.gov. in
. The EVC will be sent to registered addresses and email ids of the taxpayers.
